Our client, a global leader in threat detection and screening technologies, operates in critical markets, including ports, borders, aviation, and defense. Their product line, consisting of five advanced equipment models designed for land border crossings and seaport terminals, required regular system updates and integrations to maintain peak performance. However, they faced several key challenges:

• Intelligent Scanning and Identification System: Developed an advanced system for auto-identification of the driver’s cabin, enabling intelligent on/off switching of the scanning frame and instant identification of all scanned vehicles to optimize operational efficiency and accuracy.
• PLC to Embedded Controller Migration: Led R&D efforts to migrate business logic from a PLC to an embedded controller. Developed a new framework, created a prototype, and enhanced the product’s functionality while maintaining smooth performance.
• Conveyor Belt Optimization: To boost conveyor speed and scanning capacity, we have developed a system that identifies item dimensions and adjusts speed via PLC control, enhancing efficiency without compromising quality.
