Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer for our Client – one of the leading system specialists for the planning, construction, and operation of control centers and call centers for emergency medical services, fire brigades, police forces, as well as for industry and transportation. The company is using next-generation control center software suite.

Required EU citizenship (Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic).

On-site business trips to Austria 1 in 10 weeks for 3 days.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the development of our modern, web-based control center software
  • Design and develop innovative product ideas
  • Develop quality software (including effective test code) according to clean code principles
  • Ensure high performance of applications and provide support
  • Proactively contribute to team meetings (Story Refinements, Plannings, Retros)

Requirements:

  • EU citizenship
  • Ability to go on on-site business trips to Austria 1 in 10 weeks for 3 days
  • Experience with Java (version 11 or higher)
  • Knowledge of Spring Boot 2.x
  • Experience working with a monolithic application with clearly defined models
  • Knowledge with JPA, Hibernate, Spring Data
  • Good knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., MariaDB, Oracle)
  • Experience with Elasticsearch and Redis
  • Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes and Docker for deployment; JUnit, AssertJ, and Mockito for testing; and RabbitMQ
  • Passion for writing clean code and using established patterns
  • Experience working in team environments
  • Good communication skills
  • English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher (both spoken and written)

Will be a plus:

  • Experience with implemented modular structure
  • Experience with development-lead or/and knowledge-sharing skills to coach and guide other team members
